Cinesite – World War Z
Cinesite Supervisors Simon Stanley-Clamp and Thomas Dyg give an overview of some of the most spectacular World War Z effects and environments.
They show how Glasgow was turned into Philadelphia for the film's exciting opening sequence and a 360 degree sunrise panorama created for the zombie attack on the rooftop of a New Jersey housing project.
MPC – Assassin's Creed
MPC craft spectacular visual experiences in any space, on any screen. From famous advertising campaigns for the likes of Samsung, John Lewis and Cadbury to winning an Oscar for their work on Life of Pi, the company are consistently at the heart of award winning and ground breaking work.
Ben Cyzer, Head of Creative Strategy will open MPC’s presentation with some recent highlights including their recent foray into the art world. Fabian Frank, 3D Supervisor with then showcase their work on Ubisoft’s Assassin's Creed, Black Flag with an in-depth case study.
Framestore – Gravity
How do you make a film set in zero gravity? Framestore's CG Sequence Supervisor Stuart Penn, Compositing Supervisor Anthony Smith and Earth Supervisor Kyle McCulloch have the answers.
The trio will cover everything from the meticulous pre-vis, through the techniques developed for the VFX-led shoot, to the digital production of a film that is in many scenes completely CG enabled.
